"People caring for and connecting to the other people in our growing church family"

This ministry aids our congregation in the areas of:

MEALS - the preparation, collection and delivery of meals to families in times of stress due to illness and death

CORRESPONDENCE - using our computer software, special occasion cards are made and sent to members commemorating church events such as births, new membership, weddings, deaths, etc.

PRAYER CHAIN - a growing chain of members who respond to our families during times of crisis by keeping members in their thoughts and prayers, and then passing these concerns to the attention of other members in the congregation.

BACK ON THE PATH - Have you lost your job or are you looking for a job? Every Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. throughout the year, a job loss support group of caring Christians meets at Cave Spring United Methodist Church. Back on the Path, now in its seventh year, is open to all people in the church and throughout the community. Join us on Tuesday evenings and share in the fellowship, support, networking opportunities, resume development, sharing of ideas, and more. There are no fees or dues.

The Care and Connect Ministry exists through the volunteer time and effort of our members.
