United Methodist Women

UMW supports growth in Christian faith and fellowship and the global mission of the church.

Small groups (fellowships) meet monthly, morning, afternoon and evening times. All fellowships have a program each month and participate in projects in the church, neighborhood and world missions.

Mary Youmans Fellowship meets the first Monday morning of each month at 10:30 in the fellowship hall for a covered dish luncheon meeting.

The Afternoon Fellowship meets the second Tuesday afternoon of each month at 2:00 in the church conference room.

The Agape Fellowship meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the homes of members.

The Night Fellowship meets the third Thursday night of each month at 7:00 in the church conference room.

The Quiet Fellowship for those members who cannot attend a monthly meeting but are included to help with special projects and missions.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship

Just Older Youth (JOY) Group (Senior Adults)

The JOY Group meets each month for a variety of programs. Special fun outings and trips are frequently planned. For more information, call the church office at 989-3673.

Upcoming
JOY trip to the Hudson River Valley Oct. 7-10, 2008. The cost is $528.00 per person. The package includes transportation, 3 nights lodging, 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 full course dinners, tour of the Culinary Institute, Hudson River cruise, West Point military academy, Hyde Park (home of FDR), free time in historic Rhinebeck, and more. Scouting Program

Cave Spring sponsors Boy Scout Troop 221 and Cub Pack 221. The Boy Scout troop meets Monday nights at 7:30 p.m. The Cub Pack meets monthly usually on selected Thursday nights. The pack has a Pinewood Derby each year and plans other activities throughout the year.

Cave Spring also sponsors several Girl Scout Troops including Brownies, Juniors, and Seniors.

Cave Spring is actively looking to bring further Girl Scout Troops to our church.

Ladies' Night Out

Ladies' Night Out selects a different restaurant each month, usually on the third Tuesday, to dine out. All women are welcome to join the group by calling the church office to make a reservation.

United Methodist Men

A fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek God's daily will. Our primary focus is to declare the centrality of Christ in our lives and in our relationships with others. Men are invited for a breakfast meeting on the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 A.M. in the upstairs Fellowship Hall. After breakfast, devotions, and a business meeting, the group typically tackles a fix-up project at the church.
