Cave Spring offers Weekday School and Mother’s Day Out programs as a part of the Outreach Ministry of the church. The programs include classes for infants, two-, three-, four- and five- year olds.
The philosophy of the Weekday School is to encourage the growth and meet the needs of the whole child: spiritually, emotionally, socially, mentally and physically. We are a bridge between home and “big school” and strive to help build the self esteem and confidence that every child needs.
The school year begins in early September and continues through the end of May. The school day is from 9:00 AM-12:00 noon.
Mother’s Day Out is for children ages 10 months to children not two years old by September 30. Our policy is to have one worker for every four children, with no more than eight children in a class. The two-year old class has two teachers in the classroom with eight or nine children each day. The three-year old class has one teacher in a classroom with eight children each day. The four and five-year old classes (PreK) has a ratio of ten children to one teacher.
(For the two-year old, three-year old, and PreK classes, the children must have already turned the appropriate age for each class by September 30.)
