Cave Kids
Cave Kids is the Children’s Ministry of Cave Spring UMC. Children’s Ministries at Cave Spring provide exciting opportunities for students ages 3 through 5th grade both inside and outside of Sunday worship. During small groups and ministry events children are encouraged and led through various experiences to a true and lasting relationship with Christ. Our goal is to join families in teaching their children about loving God, Jesus loving people, and how to live so that we can show that love to others everyday. Children come together to grow, connect, serve, and have fun in a safe and understanding environment.

At Cave Spring UMC, children are joyfully involved in every part of church life — from worship and Sunday School to special events, music, service projects, and more. We believe faith grows through fun, friendship, and hands-on experiences, and we’re excited to help kids discover God’s love in ways that are meaningful and memorable.
Worship
During both the 9:00 and 11:00 worship services, children (Preschool through Elementary) are invited to a special discipleship time. They return to the service before it ends, so families can worship together. Traveling or can’t attend? Weekly video lessons are available below!
Small Group Times
Our small groups create space for kids to grow in faith and friendship. Using engaging Bible-based resources, children explore God’s story through lessons, games, and hands-on activities that connect faith to everyday life in fun, meaningful ways. These groups meet in between services.
Monthly Events
On the 2nd Sunday of each month during the school year, Cave Kids offers an exciting time of faith, fun, and friendship. Kids ages 4 through 5th grade enjoy interactive Bible stories, themed games, crafts, and snacks — all designed to help them grow in God’s love.

Kids are at the heart of our church events! Whether it’s seasonal celebrations, service projects, or special worship moments, children are always included in the life of our community. From Easter egg hunts and Vacation Bible School to mission opportunities and family fun nights, there’s always something coming up to help kids grow in faith, make new friends, and create lasting memories.
VBS
June 8-11, 2026 (9AM-12PM)
Step into the jungle for an exciting adventure at Rainforest Falls VBS! Kids will explore God’s love through engaging Bible stories, energetic music, creative crafts, games, and hands-on activities. Along the way, they’ll discover how God helps us grow strong in faith and guides us through every twist and turn of life.
Cave Kids Camp
Thank you for your interest in having your children attend our Cave Kids Camp. Cave Kids Camp is July 20 – 23 from 9 am to 2 pm. Children must be 8 years old by the start of camp. We look forward to a week of fun together!
